Windsurfing
is a subtle sport, which demands a combination of balance and finesse.
It can also be a very long and frustrating road when you are trying to
learn on your own. Qualified instruction can really shorten the
learning curve and keep you from establishing and reinforcing bad
habits. It can be the best investment you make for improving your
sailing ability. We have Bernardo Fontana on site to provide
instruction in Spanish or English and also 2 pro sailors (Tyson Poor
and Wyatt Miller ) are available locally for instruction Nov through
February.

| We do have a good selection of Booties for guests use and also a few
loaner wetsuits although we recommend you bring your wetsuit and
harness. We have some rocks but many local sailors still sail barefoot.
During the months of December, January, and February you probably want
a full suit with short sleeves (3mm/2mm),especially if you get cold
easily. For early and late season sailing a shorty or spring suit is
fine. Bring gloves and a helmet if you want them for sailing or kiting.
We have a good selection of bike helmets. |
