FROM LA PAZ AIRPORT:
Drive out of airport and turn right, you will be on Hwy 1 heading toward La Paz. When you get to the whale tail monument bear right at the signs for La Paz Centro/ Los Cabos and you will be on Blvd Las Garzas (also called Blvd Agustin Olachea) Follow it to where you will turn right on Blvd Luis D. Colosio. Continue out of La Paz and it turns into Hwy 286 to SJ de Los Planes. You will know you are on the right road when you pass the Pepsi and Coca Cola bottling plants. The road heads up the mountains then drops into the Los Planes valley, where you will have your first view of La Ventana bay. In about half an hour from La Paz you'll see a paved road on the left that is signed El Sargento. Turn left. Then follow the Home Stretch directions.

 

FROM LOS CABOS:
After leaving the airport, go over the overpass and circle to the right and you will be heading North on Hwy 1. You will drive through the towns of Los Barriles, San Bartolo, and arrive at San Antonio, a small rtown with a gas station on your left as you come into town. Turn right at a paved road that turns off to the right about 100 yards past the gas station ( look for signs for La Ventana and /or Baja Joes In about 22km the road ends at a T, turn left toward La Paz and drive a short distance until you see a large roadside shrine at which you turn right going toward El Sargento/La Ventana. There are plenty of signs there for the various La Ventana/El Sargento businesses.

 

THE HOME STRETCH DIRECTIONS:
Once you have taken the last turn towards La Ventana/ El Sargento drive for about 7 km to the village of La Ventana. There is a speed bump right as you come into town, the SECOND speed bump is your signal to turn right on to a dirt road at the big cactus. Drive about 150 feet and you will see a pink rock wall and a board sign for Ventana Windsports.
